We’ve decided to continue the great work we started in our last full length piece, and carry on with the theme of everything beard related. In this post we’re going to be covering a similar product that we can’t seem to get enough of at the moment.
Considering last time we spent a considerable amount of time covering something called a beard grooming kit, what do you think we will be covering today?
I’ll give you a clue… It’s actually an item that you would usually expect to find within a beard grooming kit. Any guesses?
I’ll tell you – it’s something called beard wash. Now, unlike oils, balms and waxes, this stuff is supposed to be used on your beard whilst you are in the shower, not after you get out of it.
I’ll explain – like any normal shampoo, when applying the wash what you need to do is rinse your beard thoroughly with warm water (just like you’d do normally with the hair on your head). After you’ve done this, the next step is to apply the wash/shampoo and rub it into your facial hair until it forms a lather. Keep doing this for a minute or two (or basically until you are satisfied that your beard has had a deep enough scrub.)
You can probably guess the next step – You need to wash the newly made lather out of your beard. Take your time with this one. I understand that some of your beards might be extremely thick, and it might take quite a bit of time to ensure all of the shampoo has been properly rinsed and removed from your facial hair.
After you’ve finished your shower, take some time to thoroughly dry your beard with a towel. Once this is complete you have a great opportunity to try out some other products too, such as oils, balms, or even waxes to help with styling.
If you like the sound of using a beard wash, then please give this one a go. We’ve tried quite a few here at revoluser and this one was definitely our favourite. Enjoy!
