Alexis Lloyd is a Creative Technologist in the Research and Development Lab at The New York Times, where she investigates technology trends and prototypes future interfaces for content delivery. She has over 12 years experience as a multimedia and interaction designer, and has designed award-winning projects for clients such as FOX, Columbia University, American Express, The New York Historical Society, PBS, and others. In addition, her data-driven new media artwork has been shown internationally, in such venues as SIGGRAPH, the Chelsea Art Museum, Artgadgets (Netherlands), MAD Emergent Arts Center (Netherlands), the Melvin Art Gallery, and Symphony Space. Alexis holds an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons The New School for Design, where she is also currently teaching.
